“Bharat
Is My Home” is an extract from the speech he gave in 1967 after taking the oath
as the president of India. He was born on 8 Feb 1897 in Hyderabad.
First of all He thanks and says to people, “I am very happy because you people
have shown your trust and selected me as a president.” During his speech he
says about Dr. Radha Krishnan who is a great scholar and philosopher.
Dr. Zakir Hussain pledges himself the loyalty of our past culture. He
says education is the only instrument which can develop a man, state and
nation.
During his speech he says emotionally, “I feel today, the full Bharat is my
home and I am the head of this home and its people are my family. It includes
the people from every caste and religion. It is a strong and beautiful family
and we must work hard for its progress.
